A workshop with dr. Nicole Dubus titled: “The influx of refugees and asylum seekers in Iceland: Implications for social work practice and education.“
This is a workshop for attendees to share their experiences, questions, and concerns in regards to social work practice and education with refugees.
Nicole Dubus, PhD, MSW, LCSW. Nicole is an assistant professor in social work at San Jose State University in California. She has been working in social work for over 25 years and worked in vary diverse settings. She has completed research on the life course experiences of refugees, especially their challenges in accessing servicesand has provided consultation to goverment ministries in Iceland on receiving refugees and integrating services.
