Linda Kragelund, Associate Professor at the Danish Institutue for Pedagogy and Education at Aarhus University will give an open lecture about the Windmill model – a teaching and learning tool for students and teachers.
The lecture is based on a qualitative investigation with the purpose to understand student nurses’ learning processes during their clinical placement in psychiatry. The project resulted in development of the Windmill model based on empirical data and primarily Jarvis’ concept of disjuncture and Heller’s concept of everyday life activities. Even though the Windmill is developed in the context of psychiatry it can be used in for example kindergartens educating pedagogues. Linda is willing to stay after the lecture and explain the obser-view, which is a method to generate data and a learning space for both research participant and researcher in qualitative research. The obser-view was developed through the project about student nurses’ learning processes
The lecture will take place in English and is open to all.
