Title: Synergistic Effect of Isopropyl Myristate and Glyceryl Monocaprylate on the Stratum Corneum Lipid Structure
Abstract: Understanding the mechanism of transdermal drug delivery using skin permeation enhancers is very important. This presentation shows the mode of the action of the combination between Isopropyl Myristate and Glyceryl Monocaprylate, which both are known as skin permeation enhancers, on the stratum corneum lipid structure by attenuated total reflection-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, confocal laser scanning microscopy, and small angle X-ray scattering.
